Abstract

'Aboot this nthat nthe nix thing' was a group exhibition held at Platform, The Bridge, Easterhouse, Glasgow, featuring the work of artist Martin Fowler, alongside that of Chad McCail and Billy McCall. The exhibition presented a series of contemporary art works addressing social and economic issues within contemporary Scottish society. Addressing themes of humility, nastiness, tenderness and community, this group exhibition of site-specific art works that were created for Platform, featuring drawing, painting and installation pieces, depicted and were inspired by the urban surroundings of Easterhouse. Exhibition ran from 25th November 2015 to 31st January 2016.
