Abstract
Penny Bradshaw (Associate Professor of English Literature and theme lead for Cultural Landscapes within CNPPA at the University of Cumbria) has curated an exhibition at The Armitt Museum in Ambleside, which opened to the public in February (and will run until December 2026). The exhibition features over 100 objects, including rarely seen Beatrix Potter manuscripts and drawings from major archives in the UK and elsewhere. The exhibition ties in with Penny's book of the same name, published in January 2026 by Bloomsbury.
