An evaluation of the Building Better Opportunities: Getting Cumbria to Work project

Research output: Book/ReportCommissioned report

Abstract

Health and Society Knowledge Exchange (HASKE) was commissioned by Cumbria Council for Voluntary Service (Cumbria CVS) to evaluate the Building Better Opportunities: Getting Cumbria to Work (BBO GCtW) Barrow and South Lakeland project. The aim of the evaluation was to provide a process and impact study which would sit alongside the European Social Fund (ESF) reporting measures and an independent Social Return on Investment analysis. In this way, the evaluation evidenced what worked, why and for whom in the programme delivery.

This report was authored by Vicki Goodwin, Dr Tom Grimwood and Dr Laura Snell at Health and Society Knowledge Exchange (HASKE), University of Cumbria.
