Abstract

Urban space is a prominent theme in this issue of Regions. Our Regional Survey provided by our guest editor, Anita Zatori, explores the significance of tourism experience as an aspect of consumption and the way in which "experience society" has impinged upon tourism marketing and the design of urban spaces. These articles have been drawn from contributions to a RSA Research Network Workshop on Metropolitan Tourism Experience Development hosted at Corvinus University of Budapest in January 2015.
