Abstract

Management education can play a significant role in creating a new generation of leaders, leaders who embrace the notion of responsible leadership in themselves, their teams, and their organizations. This chapter outlines two programs from the UK that demonstrate this. The alumni from these programs inspire new ways of thinking not only within their organizational groups but through broader, global communities of practice that connect fellow graduates from the programs. We shall offer the notion of using these connections to form a crowd-sourcing, evidence-based approach to management education that builds a community of responsible leadership, which, in turn, can connect local with global. In this way, prescient changes can be actioned rather than being simply good intentions.
