Abstract

Jane Topping's nou (2018) has its premiere as part of Old Hair, at Glasgow International, Scotland’s largest festival for contemporary art. Jane Topping will be presenting a new video work, nou. Inspired by Naomi Mitchison’s Memoirs of a Spacewoman, nou is a tale of time travel, hypnosis and transformation. nou is the sequel to Peter (2014), which won Best Short Film at the Philip K. Dick Science Fiction Film Festival 2017, New York. Jane’s publication Peter and nou (designed and published by Good Press) will be launched at the screening.
