Abstract

"One Body Politic" was a Heritage Lottery funded public art commission marking the 150th anniversary of Middlesbrough's Royal Charter of Incorporation. 150 porcelain plates with digitally merged portraits of faces in local photographs from each of the past 150 years were made during a six month artist's residency at the Town Hall
