Abstract
The exhibition KINGDOM – Flora, Fauna, Fable explored contemporary art’s relationship to nature, with works by a large number of artists in a great variety of media. Works were both current and from the museum’s collection. It was a fascinating mix of observation and recording the natural world, use of natural objects, exploration of man’s interactions with and attitudes toward nature and much more. The exhibition features works from Bryndís Snæbjörnsdóttir & Mark Wilson's 'Between you and me' project, 2009 (stuffed seals and video works).
