Abstract

A touring exhibition of an extensive series of drawings and paintings which documented the historical architecture and penal history of Scotland with a specific focus upon HMP Perth. The drawings and paintings were created on location at HMP Perth and documented the extensive renovations to the prison estate in 2009/10. The exhibition was presented at Perth City Art Gallery & Museum in 2010 (and later at HMP Perth in 2014). Ink drawings from the series are in the public collections of Perth City Art Gallery & Museum and the Scottish Prison Service.
